Ski Ability Levels
Never Ever
This is your first time ever skiing. Learn the basic skills in a fun and safe environment.
Beginner
You’ve skied a couple of times and can stop and turn using a snowplough (pizza) on green/blue slopes. You want to start working on linking parallel turns and exploring red runs.
Intermediate
You are comfortable linking parallel turns on red runs. You want to gain confidence on steeper terrain, improve your overall technique and maybe revisit some foundations for the big level up.
Advanced
You can ski confidently on all red and some black slopes. You want to focus on advanced techniques such as carving, short turns, and tackling moguls to enhance your overall performance.
Expert
You are confident skiing all terrain, including off-piste and challenging black runs. You want to explore the whole resort and test your limits in deep powder, steep terrain and freestyle.
Snowboard Ability Levels
Never Ever
This is your first time ever snowboarding. Learn the basic skills in a fun and safe environment.
Beginner
You’ve snowboarded a couple of times and can stop and turn on both toe and heel side on green/blue slopes. You want to start working on linking turns and exploring red runs.
Intermediate
You are comfortable linking turns on red runs. You want to improve your overall technique, gain confidence on steeper terrain, try different turn shapes and a few tricks.
Advanced
You can ride confidently on all red and some black slopes. You want to focus on advanced techniques such as carving, switch riding and freestyle
Expert
You are confident riding all terrain, including off-piste and challenging black runs. You want to explore the whole resort and test your limits in deep powder, steep terrain and freestyle.
Free Ride Ability Levels
Level 1
You are a skilled on-piste rider ready to explore beyond groomed trails. Learn fundamental off-piste techniques, to enjoy powder and varied snow conditions.
Level 2
You are comfortable on basic off-piste terrain, ready to improve control in deeper snow and navigate steeper, more complex terrain.
Level 3
You are a seasoned off-piste rider who handles varied and extreme conditions confidently, including trees and couloirs. You have a good understanding of snow safety and have practiced rescues with avalanche safety equipment.
